Just like the Battleship's steel, the Battleship's teak deck is very unique.  The Battleship's original teak deck was replaced in a massive project that began during the mid 1990's and finished in 2002.  Every original piece of teak is slightly different--and this is just one thing that makes the teak so special.  Also, there is not much of the original teak deck left that is available for purchase.
